I offer clinical supervision to Texas LMSWs who are interested in gaining hours to become a LCSW. Clinical supervision is a commitment of time and resources with a focus on professional growth. Please read below to learn more about me, my style and what to expect during our time together.

  • I am so glad you are here! I am a I’m a LCSW and board-approved supervisor in Texas. I own Soulfully Rooted Wellness and serve as a full time psychotherapist.

    My overall style is laid back and relational. With clients, I use psychoeducation, IFS, EMDR, DBT and motivational interviewing to support client as they are working toward client-identified goals. My goal is to walk with client as see their own strength and feel empowered to make choices that are best for their season of life.

    My supervision focus is clinical skill building, cultural competency, ethics and boundaries- I am here to support you in becoming an LCSW- a title that comes with great responsibility.

  • Under supervision with Courtney, the LMSW will typically meet with Courtney for 4 hours per month.

    All sessions are online- you must be licensed in Texas to participate in supervision.

    The relationship between supervisee and supervisor is unique one built on trust, communication and collaboration.

    Supervision with me consists of case consultations and discussions to help you best develop into a confident LCSW.

    My hope is to provide you with a warm, supportive space where you can develop clinical skills and a solid footing as a clinician.

    Supervision will offer you an opportunity to know yourself better and you develop your own clinical style and practice so you are prepared for independent clinical practice.

  • Does your current employment allows you to assesses, diagnose and treat mental health using the DSM-V criteria? If you meet this qualification then you are eligible to participate in LCSW supervision courses.

  • Individual supervision: 60 minutes, meets weekly - $400/month

    Group supervision: 2 hours, meets bi-weekly- $275/ month

  • • You will reach out to me via email and request to schedule a Supervision Consultation.

    • I schedule our consultation to meet and discuss supervision goals. You are also welcome to ask me questions. Based on this conversation, we will determine if we are able to meet each other’s needs before we begin our supervisory relationship.

    • When you attend your first session, you will bring the semi completed application forms. I will sign the forms and you will mail them to the Board upon completion of supervision. Forms & Publications

    – Participating in supervision with me is considered “outside supervision.” So, a letter from your employer, on agency letterhead, with my name listed, is mandated.
